Bookends

Directed by Delavega. With Michael Collins, Matthew Donaldson, Kat Espaillat, Pisha Warden. While trapped at home during a hurricane, Harper finds out her husband's new friends are swingers and decides she wants to swap partners for a night of sex without fully considering the consequences. I adore these bike bookends, they are big enough to draw attention and subtle enough to add to any area of any bookshelf, fireplace or side table I put a large single volume history of baseball with a green cover and old ball players photos on it between the bookends, and the effect is really nice. The Sistine Chapel ceiling (Italian: Volta della Cappella Sistina), painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512, is a cornerstone work of High Renaissance art.The ceiling is that of the Sistine Chapel, the large papal chapel built within the Vatican between 1477 and 1480 by Pope Sixtus IV, for whom the chapel is named. Petrified Wood Bookends

BK300b This is a very nice set of Sequoia Petrified Wood bookends from Saddle Mt., Washington. This set measures 9 1/2' wide x 5 7/8' tall x 1 7/8' and has a nice polish on the face and have black felt on the bottom and middle for protection. It has contrasting colors of Beige, Tan, and Brown with neat bark on the outer edge all in a very unique design. Just beautiful!

The set weighs 7 lbs. 6.2 oz.

Petrified Wood is a type of a fossil as it consists of fossil wood where all the organic materials have been replaced with minerals while retaining the original structure of the wood. These minerals are most often Silicates such as Quartz. Other minerals, Manganese, Iron and Copper, in the water or mud during the petrification process gives Petrified Wood a variety of color ranges: black - Carbon; green/blue - Copper; red/brown/yellow - Iron. Petrified Wood can preserve the original structure of the wood in all its detail all the way down to the microscopic level. Structures such as tree rings and the various tissues are often observed features. Although Petrified Wood can be found worldwide, it is rather rare in larger quantities and at times can be difficult to obtain by the average collector.
